The Garden is thriving and new members are always welcome.  

Come along, get your hands dirty, make new friends and share in the bounty.

This groups meets Monday,Wednesday & Friday in the warmer months.

Hatha Yoga Monday Evening with Angela Stubbs

A class for all levels from beginners to advanced. Hatha Yoga combines breath, meditation with gentle moves. Angela is a very experienced practitioner who will work gently with you and guide you through the various Hatha Yoga moves.

Walkers & Talkers

For the robust type -

Meet at the Somerville Recreation Centre reception to sign in.  The group walk Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's leaving at 9am sharp Please fill in the enrolment form provided and tick off your name each visit. Wear a hat and bring along a water bottle.

 

Walking for Fitness

​

A well paced walk around Somerville leafy paths up to 5kms distance. Meet at the Annie Sage Community Centre home of the  Somerville Community House at  2/21 Worwong Avenue on any week day from Monday to Friday usually at 9.00 am. The group leaves at 9am during the winter months and return to the Annie Sage Community Centre for a cup of tea/coffee, a biscuit and a chat.  

​Please phone us to enrol first. New members are always welcome but we recommend you get clearance from your doctor first.

 

Bushwalking

A small group of bush walking enthusiasts get together each term to plan a half day walk around our beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Previous walks have included visits to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens, walks along the coastal bay and many other smaller bush walks.

A good level of fitness and good walking shoes are recommended.
